“They lose the day in expectation of the night, and the night in fear of the dawn.”
-Seneca
I had a pretty profound dream a couple days ago. I saw millions of faceless forms and hands in the sky grabbing for a chance to be alive here on earth. I stood there breathless in awe. In that dream I meditated the rarity and immensity which is this momentary blip of consciousness we experience as life. I woke up smiling. I smiled in gratitude of this tremendous blessing and the inconceivable chance it is to be alive. I suppose if I had to impart some wisdom from this monumental dream. It would be... Seize the damn day, because the sun also sets.
